Creative Trends and exhibitors both want a successful event, therefore policies are in place for all to follow.

*These policies are in addition to the show conditions page found in the Exhibitor Application Package*

Creative Trends Spring Market is being held in the Curling Arena of McArthur Island Sport & Event Centre. This event is being held in the same facility at the same time as the 25-year-long Kamloops Spring Home Show & the Kamloops Boat Show. Creative Trends is strictly artisan and lifestyle based and is not offered to Home Show exhibitors. The Home Show & Boat Show will be held in the other two arenas at McArthur Island Sport & Event Centre.


There are several product and business categories that make up the trade show, please consider the category that best suits your business. We will be using discretion when applications are sent in, as to who which businesses are chosen in both Artisan & Lifestyle categories.

**PLEASE NOTE** What you apply to exhibit is all you may display.

For Example: If you are a bath & body soap/essential oil maker, you cannot add in jewelry that you also make. You must choose the category you want to be in. Items not in the category you indicated will be asked to be removed. If you make more than one category of goods and you want to display all of it, you will need to reserve more than one booth to do so. Thank you for understanding.


Artisan Component: For Artisan's who have created authentic original items. Only those who fit this category will be confirmed to showcase their items in this event. Eligible products must be created in a manner of how it was constructed, sewn/knitted, sculpted, carved or altered in such a way that is unique and original to the artist.


Lifestyle Component: For all types of lifestyle interests which may include Eco-conscious products/services, wineries, health/wellness, tour companies, photography, spiritual/healing, product to consumer sales and more. Sorry, No MLM or home based businesses such as Watkins, Tupperware, Scentsy etc.


Absolutely no lighting of candles, incense, warming wax or burning items of any sort.


If a product is made for take home consumption and you want to provide sampling, such as canned goods, wine/spirits, bakery, chocolate or other confectionery,  please comply with the following:

•Liquor board authorization/certificate (displayed in booth)

•Current Food Safe Certificate (readily available at booth)

•Food Inspection Premises Permit (readily available at booth)

•Only properly packaged and sealed food items for "take home" consumption may be sold.

•Disposable gloves must be worn if handling open product.

•If you are offering hot food samples, please discuss with us upon submitting your application.

(All required documentation must accompany your application)


The booth area rented is the only place to conduct business. Please don't over crowd the booth with products; all items must be within the allotted space and not spill into the aisle. We strongly encourage that all tables be draped to the floor. Absolutely no subletting of booth space.


All booths must have a professionally made sign or banner to display the business that is operating/selling products. Signs must not exceed the height of the drape unless approved by show management. No tape, pins, tacks or other items are to be used to adhere signs, pictures or products to the drapery. We provide hooks to use free of charge, please use them.


Exhibitors may be asked to send in a current picture of what their booth will look like at the event. (show management discretion)

ABSOLUTELY NO TENTS OF ANY SORT - Fire Marshall Regulations.


Due to health and safety regulations, all products must be in appropriate wrap or containers and labelled. Please limit the number of open product(s) for display. Some body product items may include (but are not limited to): soap and other bath products, lotions, sprays, essential oils, aromatherapy, body jewelry etc.


The use of microphones is not allowed. Prize wheels ~ silent ones allowed, noisy ones not allowed.


If you require the use of a portable heater please inquire with show management. We do not provide them, you bring your own. You will be required to purchase additional power as part of your booth rental which can be found on the additional services form in the exhibitor package.



Balloons ~ NOPE!

Food Samples ~ Only exhibitors who meet the criteria as outline below (SPECIALTY FOODS) may provide food samples.

Candy ~ No problem! Just needs to be in wrappers.

Bags/Totes ~ No problem!


A concession will be open during event hours.


All exhibitors and anyone working the trade show, are asked to park at the furthest point of the back parking lot (river side), to ensure YOUR customers have ample parking closest to the building. IT IS FREE PARKING - please inform all who work the event where to park. This event is being held at McArthur Island Sport & Event Centre in Kamloops, BC.


By signing and submitting the application form, the business that reserved the booth space and anyone who works the trade show acknowledges that no children under the age of 16 are to be in the booth during set-up, show times or take-down; this is strictly enforced (as outlined in show conditions in exhibitor package).
